LAHORE: Former prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani Saturday said non-partisan elections were once held in the country in 1985 and after over 27 years Multan is witnessing a similar exercise again.
“Some have adopted ‘Rabbit’ as their election symbol while others have ‘Bucket’ but it is only the Pakistan People’s Party that has fielded a candidate on its own ticket,” he said while talking to media representatives here.
He questioned as to what kind of revolution one could expect through people who have a reputation for changing loyalties.
