NAROWAL: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif spent Eid-ul-Azha with flood affectess here on Monday.
Addressing the victims of the floods, Prime Minister Sharif said he was proud to spend Eid with them and announced that the first installment of Rs 25,000 for the affectees had been disbursed by the government.
The prime minister promised that the government would compensate for each crop and house lost in the floods. He added the government would work day and night for the progress of Pakistan.
Prime Minister Sharif further said the government aims to overcome the energy crisis during its tenure. He emphasized that those who taught ill of Pakistan would themselves not be prosperous.
The prime minister prayed for the end of terrorism in Pakistan.
