Sargodha: Sports Stadium walls demolished for PTI rally

SARGODHA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is scheduled to hold a rally here on Friday. Ahead of the rally, walls of the Sports Stadium have been demolished.

Walls were demolished to allow containers to enter the stadium as part of the construction for the stage of the PTI rally.

The local leadership of the PTI claimed the walls were demolished so difficulties would not be faced by workers entering and exiting the stadium. PTI leaders said the demolished walls would be reconstructed after the rally.

The decision to demolish walls has been condemned by athletes while the district administration has remained silent.
