Government ready for talks with PTI: Pervaiz Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Information Minister, Pervaiz Rashid on Saturday said the government was ready to hold talks with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Speaking to media, Rashid said a delay in talks was from the PTI’s side not the governments. “Imran Khan should remove Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s handcuffs and allow him to hold talks.”

Pervaiz Rashid said the prime minister had announced the decrease in petroleum prices, the results of which could be seen in Sindh and Punjab. The information minister asked what Pervaiz Khattak had done in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa thus far.

In response to a question about the resignation of PTI MNAs, Rashid said Imran Khan had held his party’s parliamentarians hostage. He added Khan would impose his decisions on PTI parliamentarians like a king.

The information minister added that only people had the right to remove their elected representatives.
