LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday heard the case challenging the appointment of Maryam Nawaz as the Youth Loan Scheme chairman.
The appointment has been challenged in the LHC by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Zubair Niazi.
The court took strict notice over the failure of Maryam Nawaz to submit a reply and remarked payments could be stopped if the reply was not submitted during the next hearing.
The Deputy Attorney General stated the reply could not be submitted because of days off due to Muharram.
The court has ordered for the reply to be presented on November 10 and a representative of the Youth Loan Scheme should also be present.
