Imran Khan terms PTV attack match fixing

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday said that he would quit politics if his involvement in the attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) is proven.

Khan said his warrants were issued despite nobody being injured in the PTV attack, while no warrants were issued over the killing of four people on Constitution Avenue.

Dubbing the attack on state TV as a 'fixed match,' Khan said that PTV transmission was suspended forthwith on the day of the assault, while it took four hours to snap the transmission on the night of Musharraf’s coup.

Taking an exception to eminent lawyer Asma Jehangir, Imran Khan said that the human the rights activist has been receiving awards over women rights but now she is taking sides with Maulana Fazlur Rehman when women have taken to the streets for their rights.

The former cricket hero said that Asma Jehangir was scared of his party like "Dracula who always fears the cross."

He claimed that the government had agreed to accept all of PTI demands other than Nawaz Sharif’s resignation. “Government had agreed on formation of judicial commission, Ishaq Dar has backed away, now he says he doesn’t know anything,” said Khan.

The PTI chairman once again insisted that representatives of intelligence agencies including the Inter-Services Intelligence and the Military Intelligence would be part of the probe commission.
