Images broadcast on television showed Imran Khan sitting next to Awami Muslim League (AML) President Sheikh Rahseed on stage.
Prior to Khan’s arrival, a minor altercation was seen in the ground of the Sahilwal Stadium where the rally is being held.
In preparation for the rally, one of the stadium walls has been pulled down to make additional entrance points.
