According to police, unidentified outlaws opened a volley of bullets on a private clinic, killing a doctor, identified as Shamim Raza, in Unit 1 of Korangi area.
The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Following the incident Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) of the area.
Police have initiated investigation into the incident.
