ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Pervez Rashid Sunday said it will be business as usual in Faisalabad on Monday (December 8), the day for which strike call was given for the city by Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“Children will go to their schools and shops will remain open tomorrow,” Pervez Rashid said while addressing a press conference here.
He said Imran Khan’s ‘mischief’ will meet failure tomorrow in Faisalabad, as routine life will continue in the city without any interruption.
Pervez Rashid said it appears as if Imran Khan considers himself an emperor who is set to invade one city after another.
He said Imran Khan very conveniently said if he had held the reigns of central government, he would not have initiated operation against terrorists. “He can say so because the terrorists had appointed him their representative,” Pervez Rashid lashed out Imran Khan.
He said there is nothing but lies in the satchel of Imran Khan.
Later, the Information Minister said that the PTI chief should abandon the sit-in and return to the dialogue table.
