ADEN: Al-Qaeda on Tuesday claimed responsiblity for twin suicide car bomb attacks on an army headquarters in southeastern Yemen that killed at least seven soldiers.
Ansar al-Sharia, the main arm of Al-Qaeda in Yemen, said in a brief statement on Twitter that its militants had carried out the attacks, claiming to have left "dozens of dead and wounded".
A military source said seven soldiers were killed and eight wounded.
