ISLAMABAD: British boxer of Pakistani origin, Amir Khan met with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday.
During the meeting held at PM House, Amir Khan condemned the Peshawar attack and expressed his grief over the loss of innocent lives. Khan also apprised the prime minister of plans to build a boxing academy in Pakistan.
The prime minister said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb had been successful in tackling terrorism in the country. He added that terrorism would soon be eliminated from Pakistan.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also said that Pakistan was proud of the success achieved by Amir Khan.
