Five killed, 2 hurt in Karachi firing incidents

KARACHI: Five people were killed and two others injured in separate incidents of firing in different parts of the metropolis on Thursday, Geo News reported.

According to police, firing killed a forty year old Saeed son of Wakil in Essa Nagri area. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

In another such incident, two men were injured when unknown armed assailants opened fire in Old Sabzi Mandi.

A bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man was recovered from Manghopir area.

Police also recovered a body of a man dumped in a nullah of Rerhi Goth. The identity of the man is yet to be ascertained.

Fifteen-year old Usman was found gunned down in a house in PIB Colony. Police claimed Usman had committed a suicide.

In a similar case, a bullet riddled body of man identified as Muhammad Kamran was recovered from a house at Korangi Crossing. Police said Muhammad Kamran was a drug addict.
