Roadside accident kills 5 in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: At least five people including three women were killed when a car ran into a passenger van in Wazirabad area of Gujranwala, Geo News reported.

The accident also left two of the passengers critically injured.

According to police the car with five people on board was on its way to Sialkot, when it rammed into a Sialkot-bound van coming from Gujranbwala at Haji Pura Chowk in Wazirabad.

The car ran offt the road and turn-turtled killing all the five passengers including three women, whereas two of the van passengers received serious injuries.

Police say the accident was a result of human error.
