ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal Wednesday said that it was necessary for his party to stay in the parliament, as resignations were an option, which would only be used to bring about a positive change, Geo News reported.
Talking to media in Islamabad he said that we could not let Pakistan Peoples Party get away with their favourite constitutional amendment without any opposition.
To a question, he said that the matters like caretaker government and free election commission were subject to parliamentary debate.
Iqbal said PML-N had to stay in the parliament to take care of all these issues of national importance.
