Nation proud of Pak-China ties: Shahbaz

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif Wednesday said Pakistan was proud of its time-tested amity with China, Geo News reported.

Shahbaz said this, while talking to China’s ambassador to Pakistan Liu Jian who called on him at CM House here.

During the meeting the chief minister lauded Chinese cooperation and assistance to Pakistan in various development sectors.

He said that there is a wide scope of Chinese investment and cooperation in energy, transport, agriculture, mass transit and other sectors in Pakistan especially in Punjab.

He said that bilateral cooperation in defence, technology, production and other development sectors reflects the close and longstanding friendly relations between the two countries.
