Afaq calls on Maulana Aziz at Lal Masjid

ISLAMABAD: Criticizing Musharraf regime aggression, Mohajir Qaumi Movement chairman, Afaq Ahmed, Wednesday condemned the indiscriminate use to brute force in Lal Masjid operation, Geo News reported.

Afaq said this while talking to newsmen after meeting Maulana Abdul Aziz at Lal Masjid.

He said he had come here to pay his condolences as well as convey his solidarity to the families of Lal Masjid martyrs and missing.

He said, now world powers were negotiating with Taliban, but in Lal Masjid case, they (Musharraf regime) never tried to convince the under-siege students.

He expressed his grief over the killing of three lawyers in Karachi.
