Several arrested in Karachi search operation

KARACHI: Several suspects were arrested while drugs and ammunition were recovered from their possession during a search operation in different areas, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police sources, search operation was conducted in District Central, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and Machar Colony where more than 10 suspects were arrested while drugs and ammunition were also recovered.

According to SSP District Central Asim Qaimkhani, seven suspected persons were arrested from Liaqatabad during police crackdown.

Curfew was imposed in the areas during the operation.
