KARACHI: Pakistan’s international-level squash player, Saad Shahid, who was robbed in Karachi, has got new passport, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News, Saad said FIA officials handed new passport over to him. He said he has to play events in Germany and Portugal, therefore, he requires visa, adding that he would visit German consulate at 8am today.
On Saturday night, street-criminals held Shahid at gunpoint and looted his valuables, which included a mobile phone, Rs20000 cash, ATM card, passport, and important documents.
Taking notice of the incident, Interior Minister Rehman Malik had ordered to issue news passport to Saad Shahid at the earliest.
Saad is also set play French open in Paris on Feb 16.
