Wassan vows strict action against extortionists

KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wassan has assured that strict action would be taken against extortionists in the metropolis, Geo News reported.

Talking to media here Friday, Wassan said they have received complaints of extortion from some parts of the metropolis, adding strict action would be taken against extortionists.

The Home Minister said like target killing, extortion would also be curbed in the city with new strategy.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is and will remain ally of PPP, he said and added that Altaf Hussain is a wise person.

Rangers have been given police powers on every issue, he said.
