Lahore languishes under long electricity loadshedding

LAHORE: Residents of Lahore are putting up with hours-long unannounced loadshedding, Geo News reported.

Lahore is experiencing 16-18 hours of loadshedding, which is making the lives of citizens at large no less than a living hell.

Punjab’s capital was facing power outages almost at all times.
Samanbad, Ichara, Shahdra, Ravi Road, Township, Gawalmandi, and the walled city of Lahore are the worst hit.

Business activity has also been severely affected. Businessmen complained that power breakdowns have ruined their businesses. "We would protest outside parliament if the government failed to come up with a solution," they added.
