Altaf condemns attack on bus in Quetta

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain on Thursday vehemently condemned the armed attack on a bus on Spini road in Quetta that killed and injured many innocent passengers.

In a statement issued at MQM Secretariat London, Altaf termed the incident a tragic and worst act of terrorism.

He also prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls and speedy recovery of the wounded.

The MQM Chief demanded of the President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani and Balochistan Chief Minister Aslam Raisani to arrest the terrorists involved in the barbaric incident and award them exemplary punishment.

He also called for taking effective measures for protection of life and property of the citizens.
