None can defame judiciary, forces: CJP
QUETTA: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) in his remarks said, “No one can cast aspersion on the judiciary and the forces and if the provincial minister has falsely blamed the forces, then he will be disqualified.”

CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry heading the three-member bench including Justice Khilji Arif Hussain and Justice Tariq Pervaiz was hearing this morning the Blaochistan law and order case in the Supreme Court Quetta Registry here.

Four out of seven persons went missing on March 10 were presented in the court today.

At the outset of the hearing, Chief Justice expressed his displeasure on the absence of the Attorney General in the court.

Balochistan FC IG, Major General Ubaidullah presenting himself in the court on query from the CJP about the missing persons replied, “We had refuted day before about the incident in newspaper. Chief Justice remarked that rebuttal was not enough, you should have informed the interior ministry in writing.

Chief Justice in his remarks further said that if the provincial minister has wrongly blamed the forces, then he would be disqualified. None can defame the judiciary and the forces, he said.
