KARACHI: Malir Halt suicide bombing case has been registered against Karachi police Inspector, Azam Mehsud, his brother and accomplices, Geo News reported.
Inspector Azam Mehsud remained posted as SHO in several police stations and still in service in Karachi police.
Report said that the case under Explosives Act sections 302, 324, 427, 3 / 4 and section 7 of ATR has been registered on the complaint of police SSP Rao Anwar, whose car was targeted by the suicide bomber in Malir Halt area here, killing four persons and wounded nineteen, but Rao Anwar fortunately had remained safe.
According to investigation officials, over 5 kilo of explosives was used in the blast.
Among the blast victims Lal Badshah’s funeral prayer was offered at Landhi, Adeel’s at Malir and Mohammad’s at Nazimabad.
