Two including an ASI shot dead in Quetta, Kalat

QUETTA: Gunmen killed two men including an assistant sub-inspector (ASI) in two different areas of Balochistan on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to police, a bus driver was injured in firing during a clash at a Saryab Road bus stand. He was rushed to hospital but succumbed to his injuries after reaching there. Gunmen managed to escape from the scene.

Transporters protested the firing incident that killed the bus driver and blocked Saryab Road while the police cordoned off the area to catch the culprits.

Another firing incident occurred at the main market of District Kalat where an ASI was gunned down. Attackers fled from the scene while the concerned authorities have kicked off investigations.
