ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has urged upon Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman to end boycott of the parliamentary committee in a telephonic talk here.
President Asif Ali Zardari lamenting over the attitude of some women members towards Maulana Fazlur Rahman in the parliament, termed it inappropriate and assured action against them, according to the JUI-F spokesman.
The president urged upon him to participate in the parliamentary committee on national security (PCNS) and play his role in other parliamentary committees also.
According to the spokesman, Maulana Fazlur Rahman in this telephonic talks said that JUI-F Shoora alone would be taking a decision relating to getting back to the parliamentary committees.
Maulana Fazlur Rhman further said that restoration of NATO supply would harm the country and the government should also keep in view the reservations on the bill relating to the proposed law against domestic violence.
