ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced the change in portfolios of some sitting ministers and allotted ministries to newly inducted members of the Cabinet, Geo News reported.
President Asif Ali Zardari administered oath to five Federal Ministers and 10 Ministers of State at ceremonies in President House attended by Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, Cabinet members, parliamentarians, and senior officials.
Qamar Zaman Kaira has been given Information and Broadcasting Ministry, Rana Mohammad Farooq Saeed Khan Environmental Change, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Information Technology, and Nazar Mohammad Gondal will minister Capital Administration and Development.
Moula Bux Chandio and Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan will take charge of Political Affairs and National Regulation & Services respectively.
Whereas among Ministers of State are Nawabzada Malik Amad Khan (Foreign Affairs), Miss Raheela Baloch (Science & technology), Tasneem Qureshi (Water & Power), Malik Azmat Khan (Inter-provincial Coordination), Syed Sumsam Ali Shah Bokhari (Information and Broadcasting), Imtiaz Safdar Warraich (Interior), and Moazzam Ali Jatoi (Food Security & Research).
