LONDON: Muttahida Quami Movement MQM Chief Altaf Hussain demanded of President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani that high level inquiry should be held in tragic crash of Bhoja Airline plane and its findings be placed before the public.
Altaf said plane crash was national tragedy in which 127 lives were perished.
MQM leader said performance of national airline was already deteriorating and accidents of private airlines raise big question marks over performance of Civil Aviation Authority CAA.
He said as national issue of utmost importance, it must be thoroughly investigated from every perspective and those guilty of dereliction of duty after inquiry punished according to law.
Private airlines should follow CAA rules, regulations and no leniency be shown. He extended heartfelt sympathies to bereaved families whose loved-ones perished in crash.
He prayed for the eternal peace of departed souls. (PPI)
