PESHAWAR: The Met office has predicted mainly dry weather in most parts of the country, however, rain and dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Northeast Punjab, Northeast Balochistan, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24 hours.
According to local Met office here, a shallow western disturbance is still affecting western and upper parts of the country and a low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas. In next 48 hours, the weather will mainly dry in most parts of the country. However, rain/dust-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places of Northeast Punjab, Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The weather will partly cloudy with chances of rain/thunderstorm in Peshawar, Kohat and Abbottabad districts while partly cloudy weather was forecasted for DI Khan and Bannu districts besides Parachinar Kurram Agnecy during last 24 hours.
Rain/dust-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places of Upper Punjab, Upper KPK, Quetta Division and Kashmir in last 24 hours.
Maximum 38milimeter rain was received by Kotli followed by Rawalakot 22mm, Murree14mm, Muzaffarabad11mm, Gariidupata 10mm, Kakul and Sialkot 8mm, Risalpur 6mm, Saidusharif and Mangla 5 mm and Balakot 4mm during last 24 hours. (APP)
