Charsadda grenade attack kills four

CHARSADDA: Four persons were killed when their rivals allegedly hurled a hand-grenade into a house in Charsadda district on Saturday, Geo News reported.

The sources said that a marriage ceremony was taking place in the house of one Sher Khan in Palato area when his rivals threw the hand-grenade into his house. As a result, four persons died on the spot and 13 others sustained injuries.

Three of the slain were identified as Khadija, Hifza and Gulbarg. The injured, including children, were shifted to hospitals in Peshawar. The police registered a case and raids were being conducted for the arrest of the accused.
