QUETTA: Unidentified armed men damaged the railway track in Saryab area of Quetta late Sunday night using explosives, Geo News reported.
Police said that unknown perpetrators used an improvised explosive device (IED) to blew apart a two-foot long part of rails passing through Faizabad area of Saryab district.
The law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordoned off the entire area to trace out the suspects.
The Pakistan Railways technical teams also reached the site to execute the repairing work.
The police have registered a case against unidentified suspects launching an investigation into the incident.
