ISLAMABAD: Taking a strong exception to PPP’s Raja Pervaiz Ashraf’s election as prime minister, PML-N’s Chaudhry Nisar Friday said that President Asif Ali Zaradari has mired the office of the country’s chief executive, Geo News reported.
Leader of the Opposition, while talking to the media outside National Assembly building, termed Raja’s election as PM a big blow to the process of democracy in Pakistan.
He warned that surrendering to President Zardari’s autocratic decisions would wipe out the democratic values one of these days.
“President Zardari has inflicted vengeance on the nation. He has brought shame to the whole nation”, said the PML-N leader.
A furious Nisar did not stop at it and went ahead to add that he feared the way President Zardari was pulling the strings of the House the country would soon be left with nothing to spare.
