Dallas: fund raising dinner for Shaukat Khanam

DALLAS: A fund raising dinner for Shaukat Khanum hospital was held at a local hotel in Dallas. Prominent community leaders, social and political activists and community members attended the reception.

The fund raising host Dr. Jalil, Dr. Tariq, Imran Naseeb, Shahid Khan, Kamran Qudsi, Naheed Khan and Nadia Basheer thanked the audience for their presence.

Addressing the gathering, they presented the good performance of Shaukat Khanum Hospital and expressed their gratitude to overseas Pakistanis who helped Imran Khan built this hospital.

Because of our cooperation a large number of cancer patients take advantage of this cancer hospital. The key note speaker of the event Ms. Fauzia Kasuri, and hosts Dr. Jalil and Aisha Tariq while addressing the gathering said that overseas Pakistanis always try to help people of Pakistan as they love Pakistan and its people.

They claimed that all donations and every cent collected are spent very judiciously and this is the reason we are willing to bring Imran Khan to power in Pakistan.

Hundred thousand dollar was collected during the fund raiser for the hospital. Local music and entertainment was offered at the end of the program which was presented by Ali Azmat. People in the audience were thoroughly entertained by the music.
