According to the Presidential spokesman, during the meeting the present situation in the country was discussed and special focus was given to the energy crisis.
Prime Minister Ashraf informed President Zardari about steps which were being taken to increase electricity generation in the country and improve the economy.
Measures to control gas loadshedding were also discussed during the meeting.
