LONDON: President Asif Ali Zardari Friday met Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain in London, Geo News reported.
According to sources, both the leaders discussed matters of bilateral interest and the current political affairs of Pakistan.
The meeting mainly centered on issues pertaining to ruling coalition as well as law & order situation in Karachi, the sources added.
Sources further added that President Zardari during the meeting thanked MQM leader for supporting the election of Pakistan People's Party's Raja Pervaiz Ashraf as Prime Minister.
President Asif Ali Zardari is in Britain these days on a private tour.
He had arrived here to attend the graduation ceremony of his daughter, Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, at the University of Edinburgh, held on 28th of June.
Preparations are being made by Pakistan High Commission to facilitate the visit of the President Zardari, a source in Pakistan High Commission said.
