6 bombs recovered near Faisalabad Borstal Jail

FAISALABAD: Six bombs were recovered and defused near the Borstal Jail averting any terror plot on Friday here, Geo News reported.

Police sources said that six handmade toy bombs packed in a shopper kept in the farm along roadside hardly 100 yards away from the Borstal Jail was recovered on a tip off and defused by the bomb disposal squad

Madina Town SP said six indigenous bombs of football size on the whole contained six kilogram of explosives. He said that it could have been a terror plot targeting the nearby Borstal Jail or Police Investigation Cell, which was foiled. However, an investigation in this regard was underway, he said.
