QUETTA: Unknown gunmen injured ten persons including a member of a political party Saturday, Geo News reported.
According to police, strike was being observed in Quetta against the bomb blast at Awami National Party (ANP) rally that killed six persons on Friday. In the same backdrop, the ANP workers were passing through the double road when unknown gunmen opened fire on them.
As a result of firing, tens persons including party workers were injured who were shifted to civil hospital.
Later, other ANP workers reached the hospital and chanted slogans against police and administration while they also manhandled police and FC personnel.
The ANP has announced to observe a shutter down strike for today Saturday and three days mourning in Balochistan over the bomb explosion near the venue of a rally arranged by the ANP in Kuchlak Bazaar yesterday.
Six people lost their lives while 17 others sustained injuries in the blast.
An FIR has been registered over the complaint of Additional SHO New Kuchlak Mohammad Javed under the charges of terrorism, murder, attempted murder, and possession of explosives, however, no arrest has been made so far.
