PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said Saturday that his party’s tsunami would reach Islamabad if President Asif Ali Zardari tried to destroy the Supreme Court.
Addressing a protest rally against the reopening of the NATO supply route, Imran said the PTI will lead a peace caravan to Waziristan in September and bring the bereaved families before the media whose loved ones lost their lives in drone attacks. The convoy would also consist of human rights activists and members of the media.
Khan added that the people of Waziristan were also Pakistanis and were innocent victims of the US war on terror.
The PTI chairman said the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had pinned many hopes on Awami National Party (ANP), but all it did was indulge in loot and plunder by joining hands with Asif Zardari.
