ISLAMABAD: The government has issued a notification relating to the cut down of prices of 600 items at the utility stores, Geo News reported.
The notification said that the prices have been slashed with effect from today by Rs5.00 to Rs22.00 on 600 items at the utility stores. Ghee, edible oil, pulses, tea, gram flour etc are included among the items whose prices have been reduced, while the government has provided a sum of Rs2.5 billion for subsidy on the prices of these items
