KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan on Friday urged the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motto notice over the issue of Moon Garden, a residential apartment, which is said to be built on a piece of land belonging to Pakistan Railways.
Police started eviction of the apartment building on the orders of the Sindh High Court (SHC), rendering residents homeless.
Talking to media persons at Karachi airport, Imran Khan said the situation of Sindh has further deteriorated which has made people wish for a much-needed change.
The PTI Chief claimed that the majority of sugar mills in Sindh are the property of Asif Ali Zardari.
He said those who are suffering the most due to the present situation are the peasants.
Imran Khan took the credit for Local Government elections in Sindh Punjab, saying they followed the example of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
