First Ramazan likely on July 21

KARACHI: Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council Secretary General Khalid Ejaz Mufti has said that the first of Ramazan would likely to fall on Saturday, July 21, as crescent was likely to be sighted on Friday.

According to the council, the moon is likely to be seen in Gawadar, Jeewani, Karachi, Dadu areas of Balochistan and Sindh respectively if sky was clear.

The secretary predicted that Eid crescent would easily be sighted on August 19.

The meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee would be held in Karachi on Friday (July 20) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1433 A.H.
