QUETTA: Electricity to sixteen districts of Quetta was resumed after the fault at Och powerhouse was repaired, Geo News reported Friday.
On Thursday night, 16 districts of the provincial capital of Balochistan plunged into darkness after power supply from main Guddu high transmission line was suspended due to fault at Och powerhouse.
According to sources in Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO), a technical fault in Guddu high transmission line caused the suspension of electricity supply.
It is mention-worthy that occurrence of these faults have now fell into a pattern as last week also a similar fault affected same number of districts in Quetta, which suffered a blackout for as long as 36 hours.
