PM urges parties to unite on common agenda
GOJRA: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that political parties should refrain from pursuing separate agendas and converge on the shared goal of freeing Pakistan from the difficulties it is faced with.

"If things keep going like this, when will we reach our destination? Today, we have no space to pursue our separate agendas and work together on the shared agenda of getting Pakistan out of crises," he said.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the Gojra-Shorkot section of the Faisalabad-Multan Motorway M-4, the prime minister said that those trying to 'pull the legs' of the government were in fact pulling the legs of the country.

He said that motorways were not being built only in Punjab but also in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces.

The 62-kilometer section of the M-4 aims to upgrade and de-congest the country's overburdened transport infrastructure, while boosting trade and travel and reducing cost and time from Pakistan's textile-producing hub Faisalabad to Multan, which is a major trade-centre.
