Reportedly, a police party raided a hideout in Nawab Town area to bust a gang of armed & dangerous outlaws but as soon as they entered the felon's den a salvo of gunfire welcomed them.
As a result two policemen were hit before they could find a cover. One of them died then and there, while the other got critically injured.
The killers pulled off an escape under the cover of night.
