President Zardari performs Umarah

MAKKAH: President Asif Ali Zardari has performed Umarah in Makkah Mukarma on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

Rabbani Khar, Interior Minister Rehman Malik who are accompanying President Zaradri also performed Umarah and prayed for the prosperity of Pakistan.

Earlier on Monday, he arrived here in Saudi Arabia to attend the fourth extra ordinary Summit of Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), convened by King Abdullah in the holy city of Makkah to discuss the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah and to further strengthen unity and solidarity of Ummah.

The President, upon arrival at the King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah, was received by Governor Makkah Prince Khalid Al Faisal and Governor Jeddah Prince Mish'al bin Majid bin Abdulaziz.

Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ibrahim Abdul Aziz al-Ghadeer, Consul
General Jeddah Abdul Salik Khan and senior Saudi and Pakistani officials were also present at the airport to receive the President.
