ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said Wednesday that no talks had been held with the government regarding a caretaker set-up.
Speaking to reporters, Nisar said talks regarding a caretaker set-up would only be held with the government when the assembly was dissolved according to the constitution. Nisar informed reporters that talks will be held with opposition parties after Eid.
When asked about the possibility of a military operation in North Wazirisatn, Nisar replied that this was a matter of concern and would not be supported by the people. According to the opposition leader, Army Chief Kayani should abide by the resolutions of parliament and All Parties Conference.
He also said that facts regarding money given by the president to journalists, anchors and media houses would be made public soon, adding that billions were being spent to gain support for the elections.
