Nisar criticizes new provinces commission
ISLAMABAD: Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan criticised the commission formed by National Assembly Speaker to oversee the creation of two new provinces in Punjab, saying that Fata and Hazara Province should also be included in the commission’s mandate.

Talking to media here on Friday, PML-N leader said that the formation of commission is a hypocritical move.

He said ‘Zardari-league is not interested in the formation of new provinces, the purpose is to make the football of provinces and to sideline PML-N.’

Chaudhry Nisar said that his party had not sent the names for commission, adding that PML-N is in support of Bahawalpur and South Punjab. There is pressure for Fata and Hazara provinces as well, he added.

If the Commission was constituted for the formation of new provinces in Punjab then what is the role of Farooq Sattar and Haji Adeel, he asked.

He said that PML-N should be given half representation in the commission and all the members should be included from Punjab.
