Jummatul Wida, Youm ul Quds observed with religious enthusiasm

ISLAMABAD: Jummatul Wida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan was observed with religious enthusiasm and solemnity across the country.

Big Juma congregations were held in all mosques in which the faithful offered special prayers for peace, security and prosperity of the country. Prayers were also offered for unity amongst Muslims and liberation of Palestine and Occupied Kashmir. The Ulema, in their sermons, highlighted the significance of the day.

Moreover, Youm ul Quds is also observed to condemn the subjugation of Qibla-e-Awwal Baitul Muqdis by Israel.

Rallies were taken out in different parts of the country to express solidarity with the Palestinians.
