Gridlocks on Karachi roads, streets

KARACHI: Karachi's main thoroughfares and streets are witnessing bumper-to-bumper traffic, as families and others are out to celebrate second day of Eid outside their homes.

According to reports, worst traffic jams are being seen at university road, Numaish Chowrangi, Clifton, Seaview, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Sharea Faisal, Lasbela, Garden, Nazimabad No 7 and others.

The police are of the view that huge crowds of people at recreational spots has created the traffic mess on the city's roads and streets. People's coming out on streets in large numbers all at once has led to this situation, the police added.

Personnel of traffic police are trying their best to help normalize the flow on the city's roads.
