Punjab health department issues dengue warning
LAHORE: Director General of the Punjab Health Department, Nisar Cheema has warned that the dengue virus could spread in the month of September and could linger till November.

While speaking with Geo News, Cheema explained that the virus claimed 350 lives last year. He added that all preparations had been made this year, including the import of dengue larva eating fish.

Meanwhile the provincial health department has confirmed that 17 confirmed dengue cases have been reported in Lahore.
