Oil factory gutted in Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: A short-circuit in the power lines caused a blaze to erupt at an oil factory here on Saturday night, Geo News reported.

Out of 12, only three fire engines could reach the ‘factory on fire’ as the rest of the seven were out of order.

Millions of rupees worth of merchandize went up in the smoke before the firemen could put the the fire out.

Owner of the factory, Dilip Kumar, told Geo News that the fire department was out of diesel, for which, he even handed them around Rs10,000 so that they could have their tenders fueled, but it proved to be an exercise in futility.

“I lost millions only because of fire department’s inefficiency, it is so disappointing”, said a disgruntled Kumar.
